Calling all art connoisseurs! From May 16th to June 13th, The California Art Club will be hosting a virtual art exhibit for its 109th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition. It is in collaboration with the Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University. Click the link below for the exhibit with art historian Jean Stern. This event will take place on on Saturday, May 16th. Stern is the Senior Curator of California Impressionism at UC Irvine Institute and Museum of California Art.
The number of artists that are contributing to this exhibit is massive. This exhibit will be marvelous for many reasons, but especially because of the variety of artists with various styles. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
Another great part about this exhibit is that all of the works will be available for acquisition. Support artists by purchasing their work. If you see a piece that you absolutely love, you can have it in your own home. If you would like to buy a particular piece, click here to “Ask the Artist.” This is an easy way to ask any questions you may have and to interact with any of the exhibiting artists. Once the exhibit opens, you will be able to view artists’ studios online.
We hope that you are just as excited as we are at 70 Degrees! What excites you the most about this exhibit? Any specific pieces or artists that fascinate you? Would you like to learn more about them? Let us know. We’d love to hear from you!
