A place for the public to gather, learn and celebrate veterans
Heroes Hall is a free, year-round museum and education center. It is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Orange County veterans and all who have served our nation. Heroes Hall brings their stories to life through dynamic exhibitions and educational programs such as the speaker series.
Located in a restored 1942 Santa Ana Army Air Base (SAAB) barracks, the museum features 3,600 square feet of rotating exhibits. The exhibits are designed thematically to highlight personal experiences of veterans. The Medal of Honor Courtyard and Walk of Honor provide an additional 5,000 square feet of space ideal for events and gatherings. You can rent this venue for an event.
If you have a school group or organization, you can schedule a docent-led tour. You can also explore their virtual museum that contains primary sources with the stories. If you are a service member, consider sharing your story with the museum.

Echoes of Conflict: Remembering Vietnam is on display through December 21, 2025
Our current exhibit, “Echoes of Conflict: Remembering Vietnam,” offers a powerful and immersive journey through one of modern history’s most complex and divisive conflicts. Through a rich collection of artifacts, personal stories, historical facts and poignant memorabilia, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the war’s profound impact on the soldiers who fought and the broader global context. The exhibit features items such as uniforms, weaponry, photographs and letters detailing firsthand accounts that highlight the cost of war and its lasting effects on individuals and society. This comprehensive display seeks to honor the experiences of those involved while providing historical insights into the war’s political, social and cultural repercussions.

In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, Heroes Hall Museum & Education Center presents a new speaker series titled, “Echoes of Conflict: Remembering Vietnam.” The series will run throughout 2025, in conjunction with its latest exhibit of the same name.
